Intro to An Agnostic Prayer

An Agnostic Prayer is just that: an agnostic prayer. By virtue of creating an agnostic prayer, am I declaring myself to be an agnostic? Not necessarily. Agnosticism has never been satisfactorily defined, at least not for me. The word, to some degree, implies uncertainty about the existence of a greater power. Yet there is a difference between uncertainty and mystery. I believe in mystery. I consider myself a spiritual person; however, I do question the authority of any and all organized religions. I also question the ability of written doctrines to convey spiritual truth. At the same time I acknowledge that it is largely through words that we learn and grow spiritually. An Agnostic Prayer serves as an affirmation of this conundrum. A high-speed Internet connection is required to view it and I recommend using Firefox as your browser.
