Stereotypically vampirical acts are evil. They readily evoke the image of a monster feeding off human blood. Indeed, more often than not, vampires are nasty creatures...but not always. Vampires, in the truest mythological/folklore sense, can nurture as well as devour. Anne Rice certainly understood this. I take a vampirical approach to digital art, processing/transforming pre-extent imagery. Herein a photograph of burlesque diva Magdalena Fox cascades through a series of transformations. Morphing infuses a vampirical presence. Nothing is removed. The original image remains, while morphing patterns are brought to life as a separate entity.
